Description

CNC machined from a solid piece of Caldie steel , hardened and triple tempered to 59 Rockwell C. This special steel from Uddeholm combines several characteristics that makes it the best choice for this application. It combines high hardness and high toughness together with an unmatched resistance to chipping , while at the same time being relatively easy to sharpen. The ferrule is 11/32″ diameter and the blade is 1.2″ wide and 1 3/8″ long and 0.07″ thick The geometry is such that it achieves straight fight form the newest crossbows to traditional bows. The edge geometry is of variable angle to maximize bone splitting and tissue slicing , having a very strong impact edge of 50 degrees that transitions to a slicing edge at the widest point of 35 degrees.

It comes in a patent pending box , that doubles as storage and sharpening fixture .
